The Grade II listed grain warehouse has been renovated, refreshed and rebranded thanks to over £1m from the Heritage Lottery Fund and DCMS/Wolfson Museums & Galleries Improvement Fund.
With fun, interactive exhibits, a café and a museum shop, you'll discover the stories of the communities that lived and continue to thrive here. Remember, your ticket allows you to return as many times as you like in 12 months.
Wildlife spotting
An urban environment may not seem a likely place for wildlife but why not investigate wildlife habitats with a difference with our fun wildlife trail? Walk around the docks – plenty of bird life to enjoy.

Open 10am-4pm, Tuesday-Saturday.
Annual pass
Entry into the museum is an annual pass. It allows you to return as many times as you like during a 12-month period. Please keep your annual pass safe, as you will need to show it at the desk each time you visit. We are unfortunately unable to admit visitors without a valid ticket.
Parking
Pay and Display parking is available, on Southgate Street and Gloucester Quays. The museum is between the car parks
